Fei Yang
Fei
has worked as an adoption tour guide and helped families finalize the adoption
paperwork during the time she was living in China. She moved to the United
States in 1996, worked as a Chinese tutor for over 3 years at Portland
State University. As a current China adoption Program Coordinator, Fei
travels to China with families to bring their children home. Fei is also
a volunteer for local Family with Children from China (FCC). She wishes
to share her Chinese cultural with families and children. With her adoption
experience and Chinese background, she has put these classes together to
teach families just enough Chinese to get around in China and just enough
to help parents talk to their children and help ease the transition and
promote bonding. With her love for children, she has put children's class
to teach children just enough and fun Chinese to start building basic Chinese
language skill.
